The
Fingerprint only Bio-Clock model
that is based on 500 dpi Optical Fingerprint Scanning
Technology. The Fingerprint only model also supports an optional
built-in CMOS camera that can take
snapshots of accepted or rejected attempts and store up to 100
images directly in the Bio-Clock for viewing via the
Web Kiosk
interface.
The Fingerprint model has a limitation on the number of users
since it stores fingerprint templates directly in the unit as
encrypted binary data. It stores up to 3 templates for each user
enrolled and a maximum of 5,000 users are supported.
Modes of
authentication (The Bio-Clock device
has a keypad built-in on ALL models)
1. where you present your fingerprint as you step up to
the Bio-Clock, 2. ID +
Fingerprint, which requires the user to key in their ID
and then
present their fingerprint, and
3. ID + PIN, which requires you to key in your ID and
present your PIN
